Yes! One of the biggest benefits of direct primary care is having direct access to your care team.Bridge Family Health members can securely communicate with us by text or email for many non-emergency healthcare needs, including medication questions, follow-up care, new symptoms, and general medical guidance. Health concerns don't always happen during regular office hours. Bridge Family Health members have access to their care team for urgent medical concerns that arise after hours, giving you guidance when you need it most. While we encourage patients to call 911 or visit the nearest emergency department for life-threatening emergencies, many urgent questions can be addressed without going to the emergency room. Our goal is to help you make informed decisions about your care while providing the reassurance of knowing your primary care team is just a message or phone call away.
One of the biggest advantages of direct primary care is faster access to your physician. At Bridge Family Health, we strive to offer same-day or next-day appointments whenever possible, helping you get the care you need without waiting weeks to be seen.Because our practice is membership-based, we care for fewer patients than a traditional primary care office. That allows us to spend more time with each patient while also maintaining greater appointment availability.Whether you're feeling sick, have a new concern, or simply have questions about your health, our goal is to make it easy to get the care you need when you need it.
Yes. At Bridge Family Health, you'll build an ongoing relationship with your physician instead of seeing whoever happens to be available. We believe continuity of care leads to better health outcomes because your doctor gets to know your medical history, your goals, and what's important to you. Rather than explaining your story to a different provider at every visit, you'll work with a physician who understands your health over time.Building lasting relationships is one of the foundations of direct primary care and an important part of how we deliver personalized, relationship-based healthcare.
If you're traveling and have a non-emergency health concern, you can still reach out to your Bridge Family Health care team for guidance. In many cases, we can answer questions, provide recommendations, or help you determine the next best step without requiring an office visit. If you need emergency medical care while you're away, you should always seek care at the nearest emergency department or urgent care facility. Our goal is to be a trusted healthcare resource wherever life takes you, helping you navigate medical concerns even when you're away from home.
