A Bit About Dr. Emma

Dr. Emma Daisy became a family physician because she wanted to care for people throughout every stage of life. Rather than focusing on one disease or one part of the body, she was drawn to the opportunity to care for the whole person and build relationships with patients and families over time.

That same philosophy eventually led her to Direct Primary Care. While Dr. Emma loved caring for her patients in traditional healthcare, she often felt there was not enough time to truly know them, counsel them, or provide care without the constraints of insurance billing. At Bridge, she has the time to focus on the person in front of her, understand what matters to them, and provide care that fits their individual needs.

Her approach is rooted in partnership. Dr. Emma brings her medical expertise, while recognizing that patients are the experts on their own lives and experiences. Her role is to listen, provide recommendations, help patients navigate their care, and make sure they leave feeling heard and comfortable with what comes next.

Dr. Emma cares for patients of all ages and especially enjoys helping people through life's transitions. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, mother-baby care and breastfeeding medicine, women's health and well-being, and geriatrics. She also believes strongly that mental health, women's health, acute concerns, and the many factors that shape a person's well-being all belong in primary care.

An Evanston resident herself, Dr. Emma loves caring for the community that she and her family call home. Outside of medicine, you might find her biking around Evanston, swimming in Lake Michigan, practicing yoga, cooking for family and friends, or spending time outdoors with her husband, two children, and very alpha cat. And don't expect too much formality: she says patients are just as likely to find her in jeans and Adidas, with her sense of humor fully intact.
